There comes a moment in every serious journey where observation gives way to commitment.

Observation

During my time with Kounted, I observed the role of the CFO quietly transforming from coordinator, to creator.

What was once a function of reporting and control has become a position of navigation — balancing liquidity, risk, growth, regulation, technology, and narrative, often all at once. But through the tools and touchpoints you can now create and curate yourself.

Most tools supporting the CFO role remain largely grounded in the past:

  • Static reports
  • Lagging indicators
  • Disconnected systems
  • Spreadsheet-bound forecasting
  • Reactive decision cycles

Finance leaders are flying modern aircraft with analogue instruments.

This mismatch is no longer something we, the custodians of this data domain, have to live with.


Intent

Advontier exists to correct that imbalance.

This is not an attempt to build another dashboard.
It is an attempt to change how finance and accounting roles see, anticipate, and decide.

The intent is clear:
